I just migrated to a new computer running 64-bit Vista. I reinstalled my compiler software and migrated by source code directories and have now stumbled on something I've not seen before. I get an "Error creating process216" message when I try to compile in PBWin7.04 (yes, I know I'm a little out of date). I have no problems compiling with PBCC5.01. So, I'm wondering if this is related to the 64 bit windows version or whether something else is going on that I can't figure out. Has anyone encountered this before?

Although PBWin 7.04 generates 32-bit code, the compiler itself is 16-bit.

I see. So I can assume that 64 bit runs 32 bit but not 16 bit. Well, I guess it's time to upgrade my copy of PBWin. Thanks for the valuable information.Craig J. Slane
