  • Color change from a callback

i HAVE BUTTONS MADE OF LABEL. THEY ARE DIFFERENCE COLOR.
I WOULD LIKE --- EDIT IS INUSE I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE ITS COLOR.
THEN WHEN I AM THROUGH CHANGE BACK.
CAN IT BE DONE FROM A CALLBACK

    Why are you shouting again?

    1. subclass the LABELs.

    2. on %wm_lbuttondown do CONTROL SET COLOR

    3. code what you want the label button to do

    4. on %wm_lbuttonup do CONTROL SET COLOR back to original color

(the all caps I did was for BASIC, and was not shouting)

    Cheers,
    Dale

I just noticed this post is in PowerBASIC Console Compiler section ... again!!!

This is a PowerBASIC For Windows gui question.

There is a sub-classing example in Samples sub folder of PB folder on your computer.

If things go as usual, someone will post a compilable demo while I'm still thinking about it.

        Cheers,
        Dale
