DVD Recognition

Does anyone know how to make pb/dos recognize the deference
between a DVD drive and CD drive?

Could probably make a good guess by checking the disk space used.

DVDs came around long after DOS days. You're not likely to find DOS
functions designed to detect DVDs.

SWAG: Try to do a "CD only" function against the drive; if it fails, it ain't a CD.
