  • Powerbasic DOS Win Editor?

    Can anyone recommended a Windows-based
editor for Powerbasic for DOS source?

I am not efficient using the Powerbasic
    DOS-based editor. (I use the Delphi 7
editor to write the BASIC source at the
moment since I'm used to it.)

      Michael,

I would highly recommend Jellyfish Pro for $25. It has many features
and is continually being updated with new features that users requests.

I believe you can download a demo at www.planetsquires.com

Its worth checking out. I have used it for several years now an is
the only editor I use for PB/DOS, PB/CC and PB/WIN.

      HTH,

          From experience I can suggest UltraEdit ( http://www.ultraedit.com )

Or you could try JellyFish Pro Editor from the overwhelming advice
of others here on the forums ( http://www.planetsquires.com/jellyfishpro.htm )

I use much JellyFish Pro to write PB/DOS apps and i can say that it is very good. It's also highly customizable, and - even though i hadn't the time to start writing plugins yet - i know i could make it the "editor of my dreams" through plugins. Furthermore, updates are sent to users.
