  • Nifty Utilities 1) Pic in a box 2) Defining keys

    Hi !

I was wondering if anyone has a utility or has written one, which is either a call or sub routine that could be used in a programme (PB 3.x) that would do the following :-

Put a image (.bmp/.jpeg ) at a position on a screen that has already something on it (the screen 80x25).

Another utility I would like is to be able to define keys(Function f1 to f12) or a combination of keys which could than be used globally in other programs (non dos windows).

    Thank you . .

What do you mean by "non dos windows"?

Ummm us South Africans have our own english .

Will explain in a long winded way *hehe* - The dos program will define keys (function or other) once defined
Eg: Shift + F10 key will display/print "Tom Hanlin" in the dos application you defined it in, now this key combination must be available in any program (including windows)

      Does that make sense . . I am trying . .

As for the two addresses you refered me to . . no where close to what I need, in fact I have been there before, usually before I post I ensure that I do a search in the forums . .
