Well, I have a heap of CHAIN modules that are running on Win2K systems, and none have exhibited a problem whatsoever.
First step in debugging is whether it does it in Safe Mode too? If not, suspect a driver issue (such as a graphics driver, etc).
Next, check into the AUTOEXEC.NT and CONFIG.NT files and try REM'ing everything out.
Good luck!

tame and "inactive" msg
Has anyone experienced a tame problem under w2k pro locally
that locks up the system when returning from/after
a chained .pbc that runs properly ?
The main pgm menu mypgm.exe calls and via run"myxxmenu.pbc then
then myxxmenu.pbc operates correctly then the user clicks X or
presses Esc and up jumps the main .exe pgm correctly, BUT when
the operator presses Escape (from the .exe) the system locks
and TAME displays its tool bas msg:
TAME VSN 4.5 & INACTIVE myxxmenu
Any ideas?
