  • Best Digital IO card

A local community college is looking for inexpensive digital
IO cards. These cards should be at least 8 bit and can have as few as
4 channels. They also want to control them with PB for DOS.
Does anyone have an opinion as to what is a good card to use? And
if you know where these cards can be purchased that would be good
    also.

Thanks for any information or suggestions.

Michael, try BSOFT Software, Inc., they have some good cards to a very low
price and they can be controlled simply with PB DOS.

The *cheapest* solution is to use the printer port.
You can get 11 or 12 bits of output (although one of them is a little funky) and 5 bits of input.
