Not sure if this is the right place to post this,
    but I'm getting desperate.

I am trying to run an old DOS App in windows XP.
I can get it loaded and it will work for a while,
    then it just stops working.
When I run the .EXE file now it just goes to a blank black screen.
I HAVE to get this working.
I have tried DosBox and all the different compatability modes.
I have run out of ideas. Thanks for the help.

Sorry if this is not the correct place to post this question.

Well, Eric, you will have to give us a little more info.

    What does the program do?

What kind of computer resources does it require?

What happens when it "stops working"? Etc.

BTW: Welcome to the board. With a one or two exceptions, you'll
find everybody here friendly and glad to help.

      Hi Eric.

It is a problem I met several times before.
It is caused by the windows 16 bit subsystem.

Take a look at this article in the knowledgebase and try it.

I'am sure is solve the problems.

      Hans.
