  • Can't find PBVRFILE.BAS

While compiling a programme, the process stopped and a message read that it couldn't find PBVRFILE.BAS.

Why would it want to find a file by that name?

I can't find one on my computer.

    Regards,
    Brian

It is most likely the source code file that produced a PBU or PBL file that you are $LINKing to your code... IOW, you probably have the compiled code unit, but not the source code to it.

      Brian,

This is probably an object from a PBVision LIB file. Check that your
directory path to the LIBs is correct in the IDE, or include it in the
DECLARE's/INCLUDE's at the top of your program.

Similar messages occur in the old version too. It has always been
      this type of error.
