Just a thought: Did you check to see if your 16-bit subsystem
    is installed on xp?

      Steve,

The PB35.PBZ is a simple .zip type file which the install program open and expand in PB35 directory.

      Try contact PB support!

You probably need to use a tool like WinZIP or WinRAR, or some
other compression/decompression tool that handles ZIP archives
and extract the contents of the ZIP file into some folder, even
c:\PB35. Then you can use Start/Run and enter CMD so that you
have access to the command interface. Position to the folder
where you extracted the files by using the CD (Current Directory)
command, then run the INSTALL program.

The Install program is not designed to find the needed .PBZ file
if it is still inside the initial ZIP file. But it should be able
to find if without difficulty if it is extracted into the same
        folder.

You might be able to just click on the INSTALL program from
within Windows by locating it through the My Computer link, but
in this mode, you may miss some informational messages. because
the opened Window will close immediately on exit.

If you need to unzip a file, as Don suggested, and you need a free zip utility, try:

          www.7-zip.org

If you have and XP with SP1 or SP2, sometimes the files autoexec.nt and/or config.nt were moved or erased during these updates. Check your Windows\System32 folder, which should contain both.

If you are missing either of those two files, you can check to see if they are in a Windows\Repair folder. If not, they can be downloaded from the Net.

I'm not saying this is the solution to your particular problem but it may be of some help.

          Pete
