Hi

Is there a limit to the number of prgrama you can have? I recently
wrote a short program but when I went to retrieve it it wasn't in
the list of programs. I presently have 262 programs in my directory.

If you are in a pure DOS environment, you are limited to 512 in
the root directory but in subdirectories, you are limited only
by how much hard drive real estate you have available.

Your program may have been put in a different subdirectory.
Change to the "C:\" root directory and DIR <filespec.xxx> /s/b/a.

This will search for filespec in the entire partition.
