I have a small problem when I attempt to set my preferences for the forum. Each time I try I get an script error: expiredate undefined. As a consequence, each time I leave the forum, my preferences are not preserved. The question: is this a problem with the forum or with my browser (internet explorer v. 4.x)?

Try this: go to the "preferences" page http://www.powerbasic.com/support/fo...ction=setprefs and click on "Delete all cookies".

Thanks, but deleting cookies didn't work. Any other suggestions?

After deleting the cookies, you may need to close your browser and log back into the normal BBS page via http://www.powerbasic.com/support/forums/Ultimate.cgi
If you came straight back in via http://www.powerbasic.com/support/fo...assCookie=true or used the BACK button then your cookies are not refreshed.
If that still does not work, go back in to the "preferences" page and reset your preferences, selecting the "Store Username & Password in browser memory" option. That usually solves it.
If you _still_ no not have any success, you may have a browser issue... what browser are you using, and do you have the latest version available.
