to write a file "dbf" from a program PowerBasic

I have proven with pb3-dbf.bas of Erick Olson but "dbputnfield fails when keeping a great numerical value with the function from type "single". I have proven changing the data type of the function "fix" but it does not work correctly (it does not record all the digits of number).

Unfortunately, it is difficult to help you with this type of problem without being able to see the code, along with an example of how it 'fails'.

Can I suggest you try to contact Mr Olsen directly and see if he can help you with his code.
