While on the subject of Internal Variables, I'd like to suggest for the next PB/DOS that the pbvCpu variable be enhanced to detect 80486, Pentium (classic), Pentium Pro, Pentium II, Pentium III, AMD K6 and Athlon CPUs (and any other popular CPUs of consequence).

Is there some way I can obtain more information on pbxScrnBuff and possible other internal variables? I can't find it any manual I have.

Isn't there an internal variable for determining this, pbvScrnBuff or something like that?

    started a topic Screen addresses

    Screen addresses

The beginning address for screen 0 is &HB800. Can someone give me the beginning addresses for screens 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 11 & 12? For those of us who peek and poke the screen we need these addresses. Maybe PowerBASIC could give them in the SCREEN section of the Reference Guide in future editions.
