    Networking

I'm looking for some source code to enable simple networking
    for PB3.5 Dos.

    File / printer sharing

If you're simply looking for file/print networking, maybe check out the old Lan Manager software from Microsoft. It's still available for free download, and you have to really dig for it. (I have it somewhere; tell me if you want it.) I originally found it by doing a web search for DOS NETWORKING or something. Anyway, Lan Manager implements the NetBIOS protocol over DOS (provides it's own ethernet card drivers and protocol stack) and can talk to Win9x computers, who have sharing of files and printer turned on. Now I haven't actually tried it yet, since I own no DOS/Windows computers any more.

The long and short of it is that hopefully you could mount in the windows drives and printers at the DOS level, and then your pb program could access them as if they were local, eliminating the need to specific network code.

    cheers,
    Michael

If you have a Windows NT Server around. Go to Programs>Administrative Tools>Network Client Administrator. CLick on Make Installation Disk Set. This program will help you make the 2 disk set for Client For NT Networking. This client will give you the capability to attach to both NT and Win9X drive and printer shares. Email me if you need help. Been using it for years.
