Modify the message text box on the Thread

When the cursor touches a thread on this forum, a rectangular message box pops up. The box contains the text of the thread.

Is there any way to define how many seconds for the box to stay?

Probably a registry setting in your browser.

when programming applications, it's called a tooltip, in html it's a title or Alt
(in this case it's called a title). Usually it is controlled by the html or application as to how long it displays.
As Scott said there may be a registry time setting for the html titles
