  • Is there any way to get dual-monitor graphics output in PB 3.1/3.5?

First, let me say that I'm completely ignorant of PB's product line beyond PB 3.1 and 3.5, so perhaps what I'm asking for is possible in an update or a newer version of PB for DOS.

What I'd like to do is to generate independent VGA graphics output (640 x 480 x 16) for systems that have a dual-head video card (or otherwise that have 2 installed video adapters).

    Is this possible?

    Not with PB/DOS.

      Ok, how about this.

Given a system with 2 monitors (running either win-98 or XP), is it possible to have a PB3.1/3.5 program run (in full screen) on monitor 1, while the windows desktop remains up on monitor 2 (or vice-versa) thereby allowing a windows app to run concurrently on one monitor while the PB app runs in full-screen mode on the other?

No. And it isn't a limitation of PB/DOS it's the Windows operating system itself.

I just did an quick experiment... I opened a generic Command Prompt window on my left monitor, and pressed Alt-Enter to switch to the fullscreen mode. My center and right monitors both went black. End of story.
