Converting old GW Basic Programs to PB

I am in desperate need of converting an old GW Basic program
to PowerBasic so that I can modify it but the code was not saved
where I can load it in PB. I have tried the utility that is
located here on the board to convert P-code but it says that it
cannot do it. Anyone have any ideas or tools to offer?

Do you still have a copy of GWBASIC? As I recall, all you have to do is load the tokenized code and re-save it with the ASCII (,A) option.

Noble, there are a couple of utilities in the FILES section of this web site... did you try one of these or something else?

I found a working copy of GWBasic on an old machine that I had
lying around the house that the wife has not got to yet. It had
the file and I am set.

In case anyone else needs it, GW-Basic *is* included on the Windows 95 and 98 CDs. It is not installed by default, so you'll need to hunt for it on the CD, but it is there.
