  • TSR - POPUP Porgrammes

I would like to load a TSR with AUTOEXEC.BAT on a NOVELL 4.2
LAN workstation, always on, which, given a certain time, copies
(Archives) data from the Server whenever TIME$ corresponds with
that time, usually late evenings when data files on the server
are not being accessed by any of the workstations.

I use PB's SHELL Statement to do the "Copying".

Can PB for DOS 3.5 POPUP programmes do that and if so how ?

Sure, use POPUP TIMER to have your program wake up every now and then
    and check the time.

IIRC, there are some considerations to using SHELL from a TSR. I think you have to reserve some memory with SETMEM (positivenumber) after SETMEM(minusnumber) to preserve some space in which SHELL can operate.

Of course, I could be remembering this all wrong.
