    IIRC, there are some considerations to using SHELL from a TSR. I think you have to reserve some memory with SETMEM (positivenumber) after SETMEM(minusnumber) to preserve some space in which SHELL can operate.

    Of course, I could be remembering this all wrong.

    Sure, use POPUP TIMER to have your program wake up every now and then
    and check the time.

    TSR - POPUP Porgrammes

    I would like to load a TSR with AUTOEXEC.BAT on a NOVELL 4.2
    LAN workstation, always on, which, given a certain time, copies
    (Archives) data from the Server whenever TIME$ corresponds with
    that time, usually late evenings when data files on the server
    are not being accessed by any of the workstations.

    I use PB's SHELL Statement to do the "Copying".

    Can PB for DOS 3.5 POPUP programmes do that and if so how ?
