  • PBVISION viewing images

OK I haven't checked this out fully yet in the tutorials etc but
I believe that PBVISION only supports bmp images. Are there
any add-on packages to expand this to other image formats?
    [like tif,wmf,gif,png etc].

While these are not add-ons for PB/Vision, there is code for viewing several image formats in the DOWNLOADS section at http://www.powerbasic.com/files/pub/pbdos/graphics/

You may also want to check out the ABC Packets site at http://www.basicguru.com/abc

While dealing with PB/Vision, I tried to Integrate some of the
      ABC code in...

I couldn't find a way to do it and make it look good. What I
would like to see is a function which will store any bitmap in
the string buffer as a 2-bit image before PB/VISION displays it.

This would be useful for on-the fly loading of images.

      Any takers?
