Thanks, gentlemen. Yes, DOSPRINT works excellently. I use it daily.
But -- in this case I was thinking more in line of a printer driver
that lets DOS print directly to USB, something that Mr. Gates should
have done in the first place.
What about all those PB ASCII files, the source programs?
It would feel silly going through a SHELL program every time?
Does anybody have such a printer driver handy or is working on one?
Thanks, Rolf Seebach

Rolf,
I second Lance's posting! In fact, I not only sent the fee for
Don's library, I also sent it for Lance's DOSPRINT and DLLPRINT!
They're both REAL good libraries, and worth the payments.

Rolf, as you are probably aware, you can print to USB printers with DOSPRINT...

To USB or not?
Just bought a new printer (OKIDATA 14ex) with USB connectivity.
It works just fine with parallel connection.
But, when switching to USB to free up a IRQ I find that DOS text files do not print.
Called up OKI. They tell me that DOS text files or DOS generated
text files, such as from MS EDIT, do not print under USB.
Another Rahh rahh for Mr. Gates?
Does anyone have or know of a way to do this?
Thanks, Rol;f Seebach
