The forum could be offline for 30-60 minutes in the very near future for maintenance (said 3pm Pacific). I was behind on getting this notice. I do apologize.

Are there any installers for DOS available? Something graphical in nature
(like the install screens you see when installing PB/DOS, etc)that would
allow the end user to make choices over options, directories, etc.
    Thanks.

    Greetings Mark!

Back when I was using PB/DOS primarily, I used the SFX routines found within the RAR archiver for installations. It has a powerful built-in scripting language that gives all sorts of crazy options and control. This may be overkill for your needs; but, I'm very partial to RAR as an archive format and I was pleased with the performance as an installer.

Many folks (such as myself) tend to roll their own installers, but there are definitely packages available in the commercial/shareware realm.

There is source code for a shareware one in the FILES section at http://www.powerbasic.com/files/pub/...s/INSTAL$1.zip - I've not tried though, so I can't offer any insight as to its usability/flexibility.
