    Thanks for your reply, Lance. I guess I can just continue
    using the string functions included in my licensed QuickPak Pro 1.30,
    until PB/DOS 4 comes out. If the functionalities I desire are not
    in 4, THEN I'll roll my own.

    All I can say is that regular expressions are on the wish list.

    This message is really for the PB Staff. If these two functions will
    NOT be included in PB/DOS 4.0, then, after I receive such notation,
    I will go write my own versions (with PB/DOS 3.5), as inline
    assembly. Once it's debugged, I'll post the source code in the
    Source Code Forum for other BBS members to peruse.

    If this question violates your "no vaporware" policy, please
    accept my apology.
