"Not Enough Memory" is a DOS message, so the programs are most likely not even being loaded.

The official spec's for PB/DOS IDE is 512Kb free. PBD and PBC are quite a bit smaller, so their footprint is smaller, allowing them to run in lower levels of free conventional memory.

500K seems pretty low even for plain DOS -- what other drivers and TSRs are loaded in CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT?

Also, which version of DOS is being used? Can you add Device=HIMEM.SYS in the CONFIG.SYS and get some of DOS itself loaded into high memory?

    PB install

I am trying to run PB3.2 on a single board PC104 computer.
When I start PB the message "not enough memory" is displayed.
PBD and PBC both work on the system. DOS mem reports 500k available.

    Any ideas?
