  • Windows XP Update problems

    Hi
Recently I updated my computer to Windows XP. I'm using PowerBASIC
Compiler version 3. Since updating I'm having problems seeing the
lettering on the Main Menu and submenus. The white lettering on
the white background is difficult to read. Is there some way I can
    correct this problem?

    Fred,

Run PBINST.EXE and set the menu colors to something different.

It could also be that the console color palette has been "mal-adjusted". When the app (PB.EXE) is running, press ALT+SPACE, choose Properties, and check out the default colors settings in the Colors tab.

Also, check your monitor's brightness and contrast adjustments.
