    Hello,

First of all happy new Year to all of you . ( we have still +/- 6.5 h to go !)

    I developped a program in VB4.0 ( windows 3.11) , together with PBDLL2.0 for speed reasons.
    It's working well.

I made out of this an exe file to try it on computers who don't have
    VB on it.

If you copy also Threed16.ocx the program runs even if it's running in
    windows95 & 98.
The only problem is when running in Windows95/98 it does'nt use the all
screen but a smaller part of it.
Can anybody give me a hint so this problem can be solved from INSIDE
    the program.

You mean the program appears smaller on one computer than in does on the other, even though the screen resolutions are the same (1024x768, etc.) on the two machines?

Thanks Eric and TIm for your help

It's seems to me the problem is not so easy.
Tim ,if i have to resize the screen by programming ,,then i can aswell do the programming directly in win 95/98
And more over : how do you then detect it's running in 95 or 3.11 ?
The statement in VB #if win 16 ... or #if win32 makes no difference !

      thanks ,
      William Becque

William -- did you tried opposite variant - to compile under 9x and to test under 3.11 ?

In 32-bit apps, use the GetVersionEx() API function.
In 16-bit apps, use the GetVersion() API function.

            Semen,
The opposite first in windows 95 and then using it in 3.11 does not work

            Lance,
thanks I will see what I get
