Where do I post questions regarding BB policies?

I ask because I posted a question title "Text File Searching" in the "Programming" forum and it was apparently deleted (the link is dead)

If something is "Off Topic" can you notify the User so that we can learn what forum is appropriate.

If you make the effort to delete the post it should be very little additional effort to tell the user why. In the long run you'll delete fewer postings, right?

Paul, it appears that the message was not deleted, but somehow the message body was lost... Please repost your query.

If a message is posted into the wrong forum, the administrators can "move" a message, rather than just delete it. Once a message or thread is deleted, you should see no trace of it! It's worth pointing out that we hardly ever have to do either!
