    Try... http://mindlink.net/ed_guy/helllp.html .

And here are some other Help File Authoring links...

    http://members.aol.com/LindaMoore/helpauth.html (very good)
    http://www.thestorytellerpress.com/t...help_index.htm
    http://www.filefarm.com/filefarm/windows/subjects/286/

I found those (and many others) by searching for...

    Code:
    +"help file" +authoring
    ...on http://www.altavista.com/ .

VB Help Writer is inexpensive and fairly easy to use.

Although designed for use with VB, it's possible to use
    it independently.

If you need a URL, I'll try to find one.

Many new help files are now make with Html Help... But you need to have Internet Explorer in the computer to be able to see it!

If you are interested by this kind of help files, just email me your name and I will find a Internet link (the address) of it...

I've been very happy with one called HELLLP! It's shareware. ($35 I think).

There's heaps of pseudo help file applications out there, but most rely on MS-WORD to create the actual RTF files needed to create a help file.

MS has a free one too (Help Workshop).

Search the net for HELP AUTHORING

Guest started a topic Win32 .HLP files

    Win32 .HLP files

On creating .HLP files for Windows95/98:

Are there any freeware / shareware applications
to make .HLP files for Windows?

(I have heard that VB has a Workshop for this,
    but I don't have VB!).

    Best regards,
Working...
