Drawing rectangles with the mouse

Would anyone be so kind as to point me to an example of drawing rectangles on a DDT created form(Rectangle drawing doesn't have to be DDT, I am just creating the forms and other stuff using DDT) using the rodent - a.k.a the mouse? I have made several attenpts to find an example, but haven't had much luck.

There is an excellent file at PB's ftp site containing a lot of
samples from Charles Petzold's book, Programming Windows 95.
Download it, unzip it and check out the samples for chapter 6,
called Blokout1 and Blokout2.

please look at this demo for drawing objects. if you want
to use the mouse to draw a window i.e. button, you can extract
the code from this.
