EchoServer on Winsock1

I have taken the EchoServer/EchoClient examples and ported them to PBDLL6 successfully but I now have a problem...

I would like to be able to run these examples on a pc running Winsock less-then v2. Does anyone have EchoServer/EchoClient source code compatible with Winsock < v2

Upgrading to Winsock v2 is not an option unfortunately

I found some web server source code for PBCC v1 which I've modified to emulate an echo server.

It is quite large but it works (well in PB quite large is still quite small!). If someone has a simpler implementation I'm all ears!
