    IDE starts cmd.exe / command.com.
In which state will be this window, when it starts or closes, depends of "properties", which you can change according ordinary rules for console's windows.

Normal way to close cmd/command's window is to type "exit".
If you talk about "minimized" state, you should press Alt-Enter and "minimize" button.

HOW DO I MINIMIZE A DOS CONSOLE?

    Hi,

After exiting from IDE to a DOS PROMPT and having maximized the DOS window to the full size of the display, how can I return to a minimized window?

    TIA,
    Arthur
