Threads and SMP?

Hi. I'm wondering if there is anything additional that needs to be done to a multithreaded app to make use of SMP systems (my dual PPro 180 file server for instance)?

I took the PB version of the "Multi2" Petzold sample and it seemed to run faster on my Celeron 266 then it does on my dual PPro 180 machine.

Anyone know about writing SMP aware programs?

As long as there is 1 thread per processor it should be seeing all the benefits it can. (initial thread included)
