At this stage, I'm the only one that could do this task (everyone else is just too busy), but unfortunately the connection speed from New Zealand to www.powerbasic.com is just no up to the task of archiving such a large volume. I'm afraid you'll probably have to handle the task much closer to the California-based server.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help at this moment in time.

It's ok, Lance. Considering how slow it can be from Sweden, I
guess New Zeeland can be even worse. We have some volunteers
with speedy connections here, so it will be taken care of. In the
end, this project will actually easy up on the traffic here, because
we will be able to find many answers directly in our local computers,
instead of having to go here and search for them all the time.

I'm a bit busy right now, so I'll have to get back to this later
on tonight. In the meantime, who can help?

      Forum 3 - ?
      Forum 4 - ?

The HTML files need to be downloaded, zipped and made available
for download somewhere, after which you can contact me at
[email protected] so I can download and convert them. Since the
database sizes will become very big, I will need to approach them
differently, with some compressing routine - probably based on
existing words vs their location, to avoid a final database size
of 30-40 MB. I have some ideas, just need some time to implement them.

The archives are a bit special, because Semen's code won't work
there. The files are named differently, so one would need to DIR$
through them to get all HTML files, regardless of their names.
Not my area of expertise, but if someone knows how to download
all HTML files from a directory, regardless of their name, it would
help a lot. Must go now, but I'll be back later..
