Test for 32-bit Windows

Anyone know if an environment variable
can be tested to see if 32-bit Windows
or higher is running? Trying to do this
from within a batch file without the
need to send out more code. Thank you.

windows 95 sets up the environment variables windir and winbootdir. windows nt sets up a variable called os with a value of "windows_nt" (as well as the other two variables i mentioned).

if you do end up resorting to using a program to determine this, there is some pb/dos code in the source code forum that may be of assistance.
