Mary,
We have a Fractional T1 line that connects both the ohio office
and our local office and we use Cytrix for the entire ohio office
and then we use Windows NT Clients/95/98 for our local office in
IL.
Cytrix does allow any application to be run over our intranet.
Currently we have Office Professional and our MRP system called
MSS for Objects by Fourth Shift Corporation that is loaded on
all PCs including Cytrix. It is a very nice system because
it limits service calls, even though the users are in ohio they
run the software that is stored remotely on our local servers.
So if a user has a problem we usually fix it right over the
phone or we just fed ex them a new pc, peice of cake.

Guest repliedSCO has a product for what is now being called application
hosting. Citrix has changed its product to match the SCO model in
that a resident terminal-mode software is not required.

Run Powerbasic programs on the internet without modifications
Product: METAFRAME...software developed by the Citrix Corp.
A vendor who sells Metaframe recently told us, "If your programs
run under the windows operating system...they will run on the
internet using Metaframe without having to make any modifications
to your programs."
Seems too good to be true!
Has anybody had any experience running Powerbasic Console Compiler
programs on the internet using Metaframe?
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
