  • Setting up server on certain IP...

Okay now I need to know how to set a server up on a certain IP, I
have 3 IPs on my Computer: 1 For Dial-up, One for DSL and one for
my Ethernet card. If I just use:

    Code:
TCP OPEN SERVER PORT 112381 AS hChatServer
It sets up ther server on ym ethernet's IP address. So I need to
know how to switch it to my DSL's IP. I tried:

    Code:
TCP OPEN SERVER(2) PORT 112381 AS hChatServer
But that gets a syntax error. So I tried:

    Code:
TCP OPEN SERVER ADDR(2) PORT 112381 AS hChatServer
But that gets Error 57 "Device I/O error - A hardware problem
occurred when trying to carry out some command." Does anyone
know how to do this? Please help!

    You should use:

Host Addr 1 to IP& ( or 2,3..., depending on the desired IP device address)
TCP OPEN SERVER ADDR IP& PORT 112381 AS hChatServer
See Host Addr in the helpfile
