  • 32 bit I/O + Parallel printer port

I have just completed a .INC file for PBDLL.
This allows read/write of both the data and control registers, and read of the status register + i/o port read/write. It gives options for maintaining the control register state and the data direction (in/out)upon return.
If anyone is interested I will produce some supporting documentation.
NT will probably give a page protection fault but there is a fix somewhere.

If it works on NT, why not post it on "Usersubmitted"?

        Would be nice.

Count me in too!!! Docs would be nice too.

I posted a little routine that I wrote to twiddle the mcr but it doesn't seem to work. If I read your description right, I could use your code to do it.

John, I know you have had problems emailing the file,
please post it here for all who are asking, it's probably the
easiest way to respond to all these requests.

                Thanks! Jules

Where can I find your information regarding the 32 but I/O? Does anyone a
                  solution for I/O on NT and/or 2000?

                  Attila

                      NT/2000 requires a Kernel-mode driver (similar to a VxD for Win9x)... see www.lvr.com for ideas/info/drivers/etc.

                          To all interested parties,
See the post Win 9x parallell port how to, the port information and .INC
                          file is posted there.

                          ------------------
I also have a demo that uses the .INC, this code may help with using the
the .INC. I'll post it if anyone interested.
