That'd be cool to take a look at what you have now!

DES anything like MD5? I get confused on that...

I have MD5 code now, just not sure how to test it, I need to read up more at the lower level and see how to use it...

    LEGEND !!!!!

I had no idea about this. About 2 years about I wrote an app using DES / tripleDES in VB. it ran like a dog because I didn't know **** about efficient data structures. I've been looking for something to do in PB since I'm new to it and you've pointed me in the right direction.
I got the PDF from that sight so it's time to do some reading.

    Thanks

Scott, would you be kind enough as to post your PB port of Twofish?
I recently ported PC1 from VB to PB (now in Source Code forum), but I had problems with Twofish :/ would love to see yours and also Rijndael if you manage that one!
    Many thanks

Cant help with Rijndael, but TwoFish - another of the 5 final AES candidates, by Counterpane Labs (dont tell me you havent heard of Bruce Schneier) - was ported to VB a while ago, it should be on planetsourcecode.com

    started a topic Rijndael

    Rijndael

    http://www.esat.kuleuven.ac.be/~rijmen/rijndael/

Has anyone converted this code to PB yet?

It was accepted as AES, US Government just accepted it, and it's apparantly an open standard, which means everyone can use it...

Very exciting, I would like to get this ported over asap and start learning it....
