You might try holding the shift while clicking on reload in
    Netscape.

With Netscape 4.73 I can hit Reload a dozen times and still not see anything but the original question. The Reply With Quote icon is missing.

The refresh problem is being worked on, but the cause is "elusive"

In Internet Explorer, press F5 a few times (I sometimes need up to 3) to reload the page and you'll see the new thread after replying. In Netscape Navigator, press Reload.

I'm suspicious about the effect of ISP cacheing on this problem, but it only started after the BBS software was upgraded recently... Tom may correct me if I'm wrong on this point.

Seems to be working o.k. now, although the "Post Reply/Quote"
graphic will not load. I orginally got the message to appear by
reloading the thread from the main list.

    Halloween is near, very strange!

    Jeff --

BTW, 1024 should be more than enough room, since %MAX_PATH is only 260. You could probably get by with a much shorter string, but I have always used 1024 to be safe.

The only way I can see my responses is to click on "Post Reply" and scroll down. Is that how you are seeing them?

Will the name of the EXE file do? You can do this anywhere in a program -- in a DLL or in the EXE -- and it will return the name of the program that started the process.

    Code:
    DIM sProgName AS LOCAL STRING
    sProgName = STRING$(1024,0)
    GetModuleFileName 0, BYVAL STRPTR(sProgName), 1024

Guest started a topic What application is calling?

    What application is calling?

Is there any way to detect, via %DLL_PROCESS_ATTACH or otherwise, the identity of the application
    which is loading a DLL?

    I'm confused on this issue......
