Alan,
It sounds like a bandwidth problem, my home site is on a well behaved NT
server so I dont know what has happened there. The SUBCLASS.ZIP is a later
utility that does a lot more than the first one so if you send me your
email address, I will email it directly to you. It is 22k in size so it
should not be a problem.
Just recently, a major cable near Singapore was damaged and while most
stuff has been routed around it, there has been a bandwidth reduction here
in Australia. This is probably the problem.

Guest repliedThanks so much for ProStart and dbldr. I just downloaded dlgproc.zip
too, (and MakeWin). Just in case the following experience will
help somebody, though, I got "the blue screen of death" when I
tried downloading subclass.zip (tried twice). I have a PIII @
500 MHz, 128 MB Ram, running Windows 98SE. The second time, I
couldn't even open the folder I tried to put the file in without
another "BSD".
".. http://www.pbq.com.au/home/hutch/pbdll50.htm
The file is dlgproc.zip .."
Probably Subclass.exe (98/8/14) is all I need anyway, right?
That was in dbldr.exe. Thanks again! Alan.

Edwin,
Its a leftover from the page being started when PBDLL50 was
current. Its mainly laziness that I have not changed the page
name and the links that connect to it but I have at least tidied
it up some and I hope it is not to difficult to negotiate.

MODAL dlg code generator DLGPROC
While I have had the time, I have written another small code
generation tool that creates the function call DialogBox() and
the message handling procedure for the MODAL dialog.
http://www.pbq.com.au/home/hutch/pbdll50.htm
The file is dlgproc.zip
I have tidied the page up so that it should now be half
intelligible and things should be easier to find.
Hope the toy is useful.
