I would appreciate some feedback on my accounting
package for windows (done with pbcc and pbdll).
you can get the demo at http://members.nbci.com/oasys_cwu/
Im most interested in the print reports and file
maintenance options and if they work ok.
They work fine here although im sure there are things
i have missed. (arent there always).
    Thanks

Fred, I unzipped the files to my F: drive. When i run setup I do not see any option to install in any location other than C:\oasys

      Fred,

When I ran it, all I noticed was that it was using about 60% of my
CPU and it seemed very slow. Mouse events would register for
like 10 seconds, sometimes even longer.

      I have win2k pro.

I did opt for installing it to c:\oasys only because I was
having some trouble getting the shortcut creator to work.
Sometimes it would work and sometimes it would be blank.

That's strange Greg, never encountered that (slowness) from
anyone else. It's very fast here. I haven't a clue what could
        be causing that.

          Fred,

I have very quickly looked at your program, I have printed a
          report successfully on a P300 Win98 system using a HP Laserjet 1100
          series printer.

I printed the report to the screen first, and got an error
message because I used a lower case 's'. I would have preferred
it to accept lower case letters.

Thanks Trevor. I have translated the device field to upper
case so that the lower case won't be a problem in the future.
It will be available in the next day or so. Actually I knew
I needed to do that -- should have noted it somewhere --
just got busy on something else and never went back to change
            it.
