  • Header Control

    Happy New Year everyone ,
    I just started to play around with the header control and I have
    just one question on it. I have had no problem creating a normal
    header with horizontal buttons for columns and I know headers are
    usually horizontal and appear at the top and have column buttons;
    but is it possible to create a header with vertical buttons for rows?
    If not; then I don't understand what the %HDS_HORZ flag would be
    for then. Is there something I am missing or does the control
    not support doing this?

    Thanks,
    Adam

    Does this answer your question?
    HDS_HORZ The header control is horizontal.
    HDS_VERT The header control is vertical (this style is not currently implemented).

      Interesting, what does a "header" look like? Can you tell me an example in everyday software that I can look at??

      Thanks

        Take a look at the "file list" pane in Windows Explorer when using View/Details. The labels at the top of the list (Name, Size, Type, etc.) are created with a Header control.
