    I believe it's $1200 or $1800 (??) for a certificate.
    And it can take some time to get it.
    And nobody will download and use a .EXE unless you express it as a setup program and tell them what it does, but to run it INSIDE the browser, time for you to look at Visual Basic...

    No one normal person will not download non-signed component from Internet.
    May be situation is changed during two-three years, but when I had a part in one Internet project, Internet developer lost some monthes to receive similar sertificat
    (can't say, who was not fast).
    Plus, it's necessary to pay money (how much - no idea, because company paid).

    Where ? On server side (it's easy) or on client side ?
