May I jump on the wagon and thank all the contributors to this BBs for some
very informative reading and a quick response to the problems I seem
to generate for myself!
Looks like a wet Christmas here on the Isle of Wight (off the middle of
the south coast of England)

I'm from Knoxville, Tennessee and work for Oak Ridge
Associated Universities as a Mechanical Engineer. Do a lot
of AutoCAD programming in AutoBASIC, VisuaLisp and C++. This
past year has been a REAL learning experience for me in
the Win32 API, PB and C/C++ area.
Would like to thank our forum admins Lance Edmunds, Tom Hanlin
and yes, former admin Dave Navarro for all the help they have
contributed, along with everyone else.
And to Bob Zale, for making PB a product that works GREAT.
Looking forward to PB7!!! Looks like a 2001 release!!!!!!??
A very, merry CR and a happy LF, sorry - NY, from a snow-white
Sweden to you all too. May you all get a brand-new 1500 MHz
Pentium 4 machine with Visual PowerBasic 7 preloaded into it
in your stockings this year..
And a Merry Christmas from New Zealand, where we are getting into a tropical (humid) summer.
It's been a great year for me, and I look forward the the coming year (I'll soon be entering into my third year working for PowerBASIC, Inc. too!)
Oh, yes, and have a happy new year too!
PS: I'll be on-line for much of the Xmas/New Year period (since I'm not going away this year), so Tech Support will be still be available right here on the BBS!
Wishing everyone a Xmas and a New Year!!
Weather is great here in LA, clear and in 70's today. Wish you
all were here to enjoy. Maybe it will rain before summer, who
knows...
Thanks to Lance, Tom and everyone else here on the BBS for all
of your help. It means a lot to me, and has helped me so much.
Thanks to Bob Zale for making PBCC possible. It's a great
program! Thanks Bob!! And thanks to everyone at PowerBasic.
Thanks to all the third party vendors that have enhanced PBCC
and PBDLL to make them truly easier to use and faster to
develop programs.
At 40 deg in Oz, you could just leave the Turkey in the sun for a few minutes and it would be cooked!
Actually, it must have got close to that temperature *in* my office yesterday... too dang hot to concentrate on work... Next I knew we had an intensive rain storm and the humidity rocketed into the high 90's, which made it even mmore uncomfortable. Ugh! Summer!
Merry Christmas from Nicasio, California (just north of San Francisco)
Almost got below freezing here the other night, but we're hoping for a warm (and dry) Christmas.
Many thanks to all of you for providing my daily fix of programming tips, tricks, and sound advice throughout the year.
