Stephane and Steve
For sometime you have been asking Powerbasic to include a few hundred (or thousand!) new features
in the next version. OOP, Properties, Methods, Classes, Events, GUI, Drag and Drop, Forms, etc.
just like they have it in DELPHI and Visual Basic.
All very good ideas.
But here is a better idea:
Microsoft and Borland are bigger than Powerbasic and have more money and lots of developers.
They already have everything we want (GUI, Properties, Methods….). If we ask them to make their
compiler better than PB so it can make faster and smaller EXE then it is easier for them to do it
because they do not have to add thousands of new features. All they have to do is to make one
thing better, the compiler.
If the two of you go to Borland and Microsoft forums and ask for a better compiler and give everyone
here the address of those forums then we will all come over and support both of you in those forums.
When we get to Borland or Microsoft forums, we must keep repeating our wish list and not leave until
they give us a compiler better than PB!
