the typo in control set check has been covered in the errata posting in the faq forum... http://www.powerbasic.com/support/pb...hread.php?t=43

the dollar prefix on metastatements was compulsory in pb/dll v1.0 through v5.0. however, 6.0 supports both styles of prefix, to ensure compatibility with the previous versions.

please note that this is scheduled to change in future versions of the compiler, so we recommend that you use the pound (#) prefix on all metastatements (this applies to pb/cc too).

    Typo in PB/DLL help files

Probably old news but I noticed a typo in the help files. It says:
    CONTROL SET CHECK hDlg&, Id&
    while it should say:
    CONTROL SET CHECK hDlg&, Id&, value&

I noticed that both #INCLUDE and $INCLUDE are mentioned. Are they
    the same?
