Open source shareware? Open source sales? Nah..

Stephane, Public Domain *is* open source, free for all to grab and
enhance to whatever they like. An open source project is a totally
different ball game. Not many survives, usually because only one or
two programmers do any actual work, the others just take a free ride.

When those few that did any actual coding quits, the projects usually
also dies. Believe me, I've been there, done that. Was tricked into
participating in a group, to write "the best HTML editor ever". Ended
up doing all the work, decided to take a break to get the others going,
and everything just died off. Don't believe in open source projects
    after that negative experience..

But please feel free to grab any of the samples I post to the source code
forum. I usually try to comment as much as I can, to make it easier to
follow and change things to suit other needs.

"open-source shareware" - is there such a thing? is the key generation part open-source too?
Stephane, I don't see how would having the code to a very large application would help you in your programming? I haven't even seen any small code postings from you (or any code postings for that matter), so why do you want a biggie? I've always found that the smaller the code the easier it is to learn from and implement in my own programs
After all, as we say down here in Oz - it's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog that counts

    Best regards,
    Wayne

    Stephane,
have you ever searched for your User Name in this Forum? You've asked such a lot of Questions but you didn't provide help to anybody. And your Questions aren't very, how should I say, "usefull". You want Sources? have you ever looked at the Source Code Forum? And I don't mean only the First Page. Just click at "Show all Topics" and you see, that there are about 50 complete Applications in the Source Code Forum. And, if this isn't enough for you, just go to google.com and search for "+powerbasic +source" and you also find a lot of Pages.

    Sven
