  • Font for units and trig

I'm converting my PB/DOS quantities/units evaluator program to
PB/DLL. Does anyone know of a font with the symbols commonly
used as units symbols and also used in trigonometric
calculations. Examples are the pi symbol, the Angstrom symbol,
and the degree symbol (in angles and temperature). No single
standard windows font seems to provide all the required symbols.

    Thanks, Keith

Using Greek Charset in any font (Times/Arial/Courier) typically solves similar problems.

Some math and Greek stuff in Symbol and MS Linedraw. There are
some specific Math A, B, C, etc, font sets too, in case one has
installed MS Equation editor, I think.

See Control Panel, Fonts, or in Start-Program-Utilities - the old
Character map program, which still is very useful to quickly see
what characters you have in a set of fonts.
