Dialogs in various VDU sizes

Can anyone suggest the best way to size dialogs to take account of the increasing use of widescreen displays. I have in the past used DESKTOP ..... to get current data on the window then expressed all measurements as a fraction of the total ( width or length) this works fine for normal aspect screens. is there any way of coping with wide aspect screens without using a SELECT CASE Screen size, for each time as measurement is used.

One of the api's you need is GetMonitorInfo()
